The Art of Possibility

One of my newsletter subscribers wrote as by reflecting on three questions which I was involved in my last article, The Power of Recognition asked.
Perhaps these are questions deserve further consideration:

In The Art of opportunity to remind authors Rosamund and Benjamin Zander to win us to our tremendous ability, what we want in our lives by thinking. In addition to the co-author of this wonderful book, Ben Zander is also the head of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and professor at the New England Conservatory of Music.
After 25 years of teaching, confirmed Ben Zander, that students would be in such a state of chronic anxiety about the extent of their power, they are reluctant to risks associated with their game in one evening, Ben would have to take brainstorming meninges with his wife to Roz (she is a therapist) to see if they could think of something that the students would be expected to dissipate because of default. Here’s what they are offered.
Ben had to a class of 30 students in a two-semester exploration into the art of musical performance, and psychological and emotional factors that impede great music. He announced at the beginning of the semester, each student in the class would be an A for the course. However, they were asked to make a commitment to complete to win this year.
Sometimes, in the next two weeks, each student was asked to write him a letter of May the following year, which began with the words: “Dear Mr. Zander, I got my A because …”. In her letter, a detailed history, giving them until next May, in line with the receipt of an A in his class. In other words, Zander asked students to tell the future instead had happened, in retrospect, and report on all the ideas that they have acquired and milestones they have achieved during the school year, as if such services were already in the past . How to Grow Grapes
